Doug & Meg

Doug is a former IT Professional and US Military Veteran. He has been diving for many years and decided to turn his passion for diving and sailing into a retirement "career." Doug is a licensed USCG Captain and loves passage making on Serenity. Teaching scuba to all ages is icing on the retirement cake! The looks on the faces of those he takes underwater drives him and makes his day. Any day above or below the waterline is priceless.

Meg recently retired from a career in the water utility industry. Her first experience sailing and diving was on a family vacation, and after taking a resort dive course and sailing a Hobie cat, she was smitten with a love of the sea! She later took ASA sailing courses and became a certified diver through PADI. Today as an Assistant Instructor with SSI, she especially enjoys introducing women to the sport of diving.
